What is a Blog?
A blog, derived from the term "Web log," is a website where content is written in a journal entry style. My favorite is Blogger, http://www.blogger.com
What is a Wiki?
A wiki is a type of website that permits users to edit available content. Wikis are designed with the philosophy of making it easy to collaborate, with anyone able to edit the wiki. My favorite is Wikispaces, http://www.wikispaces.com/
Source -- http://www.citt.ufl.edu/toolbox/ A great website with information on technology and other educational innovations.
Which one should you use?
If you want most of the control, use a blog.
If you want the site to be collaboratively written, use a wiki.
